The 2021 Maine Theater Fund grants will benefit 20 nonprofit organizations across Maine. The total $93,500 in grants will benefit the many organizations that have faced shutdowns and lost revenue during the pandemic. Grants include funds so theater companies can more safely produce their seasons during the ongoing health crisis or recover from financial losses during the pandemic. Funding for the competitive grant program comes from an anonymous couple who recognize the connection between vibrant communities and support for the arts.
