Funding from donor-advised funds through MaineCF’s Giving Together option more than doubled the number of 2021 grants through the Maine Land Protection grant program. Seven nonprofit organizations were awarded a total $145,000 in grants; four more grants funded by donors totaled $91,000. The Maine Land Protection grant program provides grants for land acquisition or land conservation easement projects that build strong connections between people in Maine and our land and water.
