Charles Rudelitch

Charles Rudelitch has served as executive director of the Sunrise County Economic Council since 2014. He has a long history with the Council, having interned there in the late 1990s and served on its board during the early 2000s. Rudelitch earned a B.S. in applied history from Carnegie Mellon University, a M.S. in resource economics and policy from the University of Maine, and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.

Prior to joining the Council, Rudelitch served as the staff attorney for Pine Tree Legal Assistance in Hancock and Washington counties. In addition to the legal field, he has worked in economic and community development for the towns of Bridgton and Fort Kent and the Passamaquoddy Tribe, along with the Eastern Maine Development Corporation. Rudelitch currently serves on the boards of Coastal Enterprises, Inc., the Maine Space Corporation and Pine Tree Legal Assistance.

Rudelitch grew up on a family farm in Harrington where he currently lives with his husband, Marc.  In addition to the farm, they also own and operate a boarding kennel.
