Preserve your organization through the Maine Community Foundation
Nonprofit organizations can transfer an existing endowment or other long-term fund to the Maine Community Foundation. A nonprofit endowment fund is a simple and effective way to take advantage of the foundation’s professional investment management services while building a perpetual source of funding and promoting sustainability for your nonprofit. When your organization partners with MaineCF, you:
- Participate in a diversified investment pool of approximately $275 million
- Join more than a thousand donors and 150 nonprofit organizations that have entrusted their endowments to the foundation for more than 25 years
- Get investment oversight from a dedicated investment committee composed of financial and business professionals, each with extensive experience in the investment and financial services industries
- Associate with a nationally regarded foundation whose only “business” is philanthropy.
Nonprofit organizations are critical providers of social and educational programs for Maine.
