You may add to a donor-advised fund or any other fund at the Maine Community Foundation at any time.

MaineCF can accept most types of gifts, including outright gifts of cash, appreciated stock and real estate.

We also accept gifts made by credit card Online or please call our Ellsworth office at 1-877-700-6800.

We accept planned gifts such as charitable trusts, annuities, or bequests.

Please contact  Laura Young, vice president for advancement, or your personal contact at MaineCF if you would like to make an additional gift.

Foundation staff will:

• Help you explore options for gifts that reflect your charitable intentions and enable you to optimize financial resources for you and your family.
  
• Serve as a liaison to your financial advisor.
  
• Provide you with prompt acknowledgement of your gift for tax purposes.
  
• Periodically provide you with a statement that helps you track your gifts to MaineCF.
