Lincoln County Scholarships

Kay E. Dopp Lincoln Academy Scholarship

This funds supports graduating seniors at Lincoln Academy who are continuing their education at a four-year college or university. Eligible applicants will demonstrate academic proficiency, creativity in literature and composition, and financial need.

Arnold and Aili Laukkanen Memorial Scholarship

The Arnold and Aili Laukkanen Memorial Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors at Medomak Valley High School pursuing post-secondary education at a college or university. Eligible applicants are hard-working students with a demonstrated will to succeed. Preference is given to students who will be the first generation in their family to attend college.

Maine Antique Digest Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2000 to provide scholarship support for a graduating senior at Medomak Valley High School pursuing post-secondary education in one of the “useful” trades, including but not limited to building, automotive, and graphic arts. Preference may be given to students intending to return to live and work in the SAD 40 area. Recipients in good academic standing are invited to apply for renewal consideration for their sophomore year of college.
