James Warner Atwood Memorial Scholarship
The James Warner Atwood Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 to support graduating seniors at Rockland District High School who are pursuing a degree in English at a four-year college or university. Eligible applicants are residents of (in order of preference) South Thomaston, Rockland, Thomaston, and St. George.

Edward L. Baxter Scholarship Fund
This scholarship provides financial assistance to graduating seniors at Rockland District High School to attend a post-secondary institution. Recipients will be students exhibiting good character, good citizenship, need, and ambition.

M. Alton French Scholarship
This renewable scholarship assists deserving young people who are residents of Lincolnville, Camden, Hope, Appleton, Rockport, Northport, and Islesboro (in that order of priority) in obtaining a college or university education or other post-secondary course of study that is determined to be the equivalent of a college or university education. The grants shall be made on the basis of financial need, record of scholarship, and promise of leadership.

Friendship Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Friendship Memorial Scholarship Fund supports graduating high school seniors who are residents of Friendship, Maine, who are pursuing post-secondary education.

Joseph & Dorothy Headley Scholarship
The Joseph and Dorothy Headley Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for students who have been residents of Vinalhaven for at least three years and are pursuing post-secondary education at a college, university, community college, or vocational school. The following criteria will be used in the selection: good character, good citizenship, financial need, and ambition. Any Vinalhaven resident who is 35 or younger is eligible to apply.

Knute and Jane Holmsen Scholarship
The Knute and Jane Holmsen Scholarship Fund was established by their children to continue the legacy of giving their parents instilled in them. The fund supports graduating seniors at Georges Valley High School who are pursuing post-secondary studies in teaching/education.

James and Marilyn Rockefeller Scholarship
The James and Marilyn Rockefeller Scholarship Fund supports residents of Knox, Waldo, or Washington Counties over the age of 18 who, by circumstance or design, are on a “road less traveled” and are seeking traditional or nontraditional educational experiences that will change their lives and the lives of people around them. The committee is looking for applicants who have encountered circumstances that required uncommon tenacity, focus, hope, and humor, and/or who are choosing to pursue a meaningful life change that requires additional education. These applicants demonstrate a determination to succeed, are serious about learning, and have a plan (academic and financial) to achieve their goal. For students who have not encountered the circumstances referred to above, we wish you the best of luck, but this scholarship is not for you.

The Watkinson Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 to provide renewable post-secondary education scholarship support to graduates of Rockland District High School who have been residents of the Town of Owls Head from the 8th grade through graduation from Rockland District High School.
